'Twas the week before Hanukkah
When all through our home
My children were stirring
I'm never alone :(
Their books were all scattered,
Their clothes on the floor
Next to a Whataburger bag
From the Tuesday before.
We all looked like zombies
From exams, work and plays.
We were counting the minutes
Till the holidays
When we break from the chaos
And pause for a minute
To be thankful for each other, our life
And all of you in it.
Wishing you a life lived to the fullest,
Rachelle
